What a Corporate Video Actually Costs in Jaipur (And What Moves the Price)

If you’ve asked three production houses in Jaipur “how much for a video?” and gotten three vague answers — or three wildly different numbers — you’re not being given the runaround. It’s a genuinely hard question to answer with one number, and here’s why.
Why nobody gives you a straight answer upfront
Video pricing depends on things a client can’t see from the outside: which camera and lenses the job actually needs, what other gear has to come along (lights, audio, stabilizers, drones), and — the part that matters most — the experience of the person behind the camera and how technically demanding the shoot actually is. A basic interview in a well-lit office and a multi-speaker conference with tight timing and bad lighting can look similar on a brief, and cost completely differently to execute. So when someone asks “how much,” a straight answer usually means someone is guessing.
What follows are our real starting numbers, what moves them, and why. All prices below are exclusive of GST — GST is always charged extra on top of any quote.
Single-camera event shoot
A basic single-camera, half-day shoot starts at ₹7,000, and goes up from there depending on hours, distance, and technical difficulty.
This is the entry point — one shooter, one setup, straightforward coverage. It’s the right call for smaller events, simple interviews, or when the budget just needs to cover “get it documented.”

Multicam event coverage
Multicam starts at roughly ₹30,000 for an average scenario, and here the pricing is actually easier to explain, because the crew is fairly fixed regardless of the event:
That’s eight people minimum before you count travel, gear, and prep. ₹30,000 covers an average scenario — some venues make cabling and camera placement straightforward; others don’t, and need a different technical solution, which changes the number.
Brand films and ad production
This is a different category entirely — concept, scripting, a proper shoot day (or days), and a heavier post-production process. These start from ₹2,00,000 onwards.
What actually moves the price
Once you’re past the base number, these are the real levers:
- Hours on site — a longer shoot day costs more, simply
- Logistical distance — travel time and fuel, not the location itself
- Technical difficulty — more complex coverage needs more experienced hands and more setup time
- Special equipment — anything beyond the standard kit (drones, specific lenses, rigging, extra lighting) adds to the quote
- Turnaround time — a same-day or next-day final video costs more than a video on a normal deadline, because it means dropping other booked projects to prioritize yours
- Number of final deliverables — each additional video (a full film plus five reels, for example) needs its own decisions on pacing and music, not just more editing hours
What a second camera actually buys you
It’s not just “more expensive” — a second angle changes what the final video can actually show. In fast-moving events, a single camera simply can’t catch everything: you lose reaction shots, expressions, and moments because one person can only be in one place. A second camera, cut together with the first, is the difference between “we filmed it” and a video that actually holds attention — even for something as low-key as a conference panel or a podcast.
Deliverables, music, and revisions
More deliverables cost more because each one needs its own creative decisions — flow, pacing, music — not just more render time. Music especially: we share the proposed track before editing begins, so you can approve or reject it upfront. If you want a change after editing has started — a different music track, for instance — that means re-cutting the whole video to a new beat, and that is billable. If you supply your own royalty-free music, that cost comes off your side of the ledger.
When we run the shoot with full creative control
For highlight videos, documentary-style pieces, or live coverage where you want us to make the small creative calls ourselves, we give one quotation and handle the decisions — which frees up your time considerably. The trade-off: if you want changes after the video is delivered, those are chargeable separately. It’s a fair exchange, but worth knowing going in.
What actually lowers your cost
A clear brief and a clear concept from day one. When you know what you want before the shoot starts, we spend less time deciding on set and more time executing — and that shows up directly in the final price.
A realistic budget, if you’re planning ahead
Every job is custom, and pricing varies by event planner and by project. But as a general benchmark, here’s the range worth planning around:
Two mistakes we see often
Cutting the budget to the bare minimum. When a first-time client tries to match the lowest number they can find, we can hit that number — but it usually means stripping the project down to a bare-bones video with none of the flair that makes it worth doing in the first place.
Treating one shoot day as “content for the year.” A single shoot often only produces enough good material for a week or two of posting. A slightly bigger, better-planned multi-day shoot — scheduled to maximize output per day — leaves you with a real pipeline of content instead of a one-off video that runs out of mileage fast.

What you’re actually paying for
A common misconception is that you’re paying for someone’s time behind the camera. In reality:
What you’re really paying for is reliability: the team shows up, the gear works, and the job gets delivered — no excuses. On our invoices, we separate the creative fee from equipment rental so it’s clear what you’re paying for and why — rather than one lump number that’s hard to make sense of.
A few things to plan around
- Filming permissions matter. Jaipur has many locations with their own rules and pricing for commercial shoots — some free, some not. Getting this wrong (or not accounting for it) can add cost and delay you didn’t budget for. (We’ll cover this properly in its own post.)
- Season affects pricing. October–April is peak demand season in Jaipur, and dates get booked out months in advance. Outside this window, video pricing is generally cheaper — though outdoor shoots aren’t possible during the monsoon.
The bottom line
There’s no single number for “how much does a video cost” — but there is a predictable logic behind the number you’ll get, once you know what to look for: hours, distance, complexity, deliverables, and turnaround.
